Rescue organizations responded to over five hundred emergency reports across the state, primarily for building damage but also for downed trees and inundation.

Weather Forecast

Moist weather were expected to linger along much of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the shoreline.

The following day was forecast to be the most rainy day, with continued storm activity expected across different parts of both states.

Medical authorities warned that there was an increased chance of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the northern rural areas, particularly given the existing atmospheric conditions.
